I took Lipitor for about 2 1/2 years. I have such weakness in my hip joints/muscles I cannot walk very far anymore. I am only 54 years old and I have been like this for 10 years, I am not getting better--it's getting worse, What can I do. I am afraid I will be in a wheelchair permanently before long. Thanks for hearing me out. Is there a lawsuit on these guys to stop them from ruining other peoples lives?? Thanks, Sherri O'

I took the required statins for high cholesterol and lipids. I was in SO much pain in my knees and the loss of memory, it was horrible, I was only 45 at the time, now at 49, I am off of the statins, but still having pain. I was also diagnosed with pernicious anemia, and a low level Vit D. Make sure you are tests for both of them!!

Hi...Like you, I have considerable damage.
Question...Would real HGH promote restoration?
Jon, 56Yrs, Crashed after 2yrs Lipitor. That was 4yrs ago.Now use Niacin, C, and Q10.

Only solution to not damage you body permanently because of statins, is not to take them. Unfortunately we do not
know about this untill it is too late when we realice that
our muscles are PERMANENTLY,
IREVERSEABLY damaged, REGARDLESS if you feel the damaging or not.
The Drug companies now have to
indicate this fact on their
advertisements by telling you to see you Dr. if you have muscle pains. If your Dr. put you on statins, he will not
listen to you because of the fact that if he is a Dr. he knows exactly that he is destroying your body. His and the drug manufacturars greed does not allow them to help you, they prefer making billions of dollars by poisoning the whole population.

Called FDA I am crippled by statin myopathy. Any chance of recovery?
Pain and stiffness is quite severe
One information officer said statins do a great deal of good!Too bad your hurting Another said colleagues
Reported on the sly cases of myopathy that never recoovered
