Psychiatric Diagnosis: Anosognosia - Patient Unaware Of Illness
CategoriesIf there has been any doubt that psychiatry is pseudo-science paid for by national health systems, that doubt has now been definitely vanquished. There is no scientific basis to psychiatric diagnosis, no identifiable change in body chemistry or brain function that could give certainty. But in a kafkaesque twist, a new mental illness has been found by the guardians of our sanity: Unwillingness to concede that you are mentally ill.
Although not new, it is an interesting concept to reflect on. Jon Rappoport has a comment on that.
IF YOU DON'T THINK YOU'RE MENTALLY ILL, YOU HAVE A DISORDER CALLED: NUTSO

Is your child easily distracted? Or perhaps he talks excessively, or can become impatient? Most, if not all, parents would perhaps answer yes to these questions, as they are, what many of us believe to be, normal expressions of child behaviour. Not so, according to Psychiatry. It could be that your child has "Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder", a "disease" of the mind that could require medical treatment.
