Creating Reality - From Consciousness and Free Will to Three Dimensional Networking

How often have we been told that we create our own reality. That all we need to do is envision, with positive thought, what we want and it will surely come about. Actually, a whole industry has sprung up around that meme, from life coaches to do-it-yourself success books. Perhaps the most recent and arguably one of the most widely known examples of this is The Secret, an inspirational film and a book that promote what is called the law of attraction. The object seems to be to obtain what you most wish for. In our society, that normally turns out to be financial success, but it is not necessarily limited to that. Now how does this really work. How do we create reality in a world where everyone seems to have a different agenda, where political forces are overwhelmingly seen as a violent driving force for the accumulation of power that is in contrast with the deepest and most cherished wishes of the majority of thinking individuals. Creating Reality Claus Janew has examined the question in some depth in the book "The Creation of Reality" which is only available in German. An abridged version, translated into English, is available from Janew's site as a PDF file. The title is How Consciousness Creates Reality. If you are interested at all about the deeper questions of our existence, I recommend you download and print that 36-page essay. Janew says he "wrote the book out of a desire to examine the structure of our reality from a standpoint unbiased by established teachings, be they academic-scientific, popular-esoteric, or religious in nature. The solution to the classical problem of free will," he continues, "constitutes the gist of the concepts revealed." No need to bring previous philosophical knowledge to the reading of the text, simply an interest in fundamental interconnections, a certain openness and the willingness to think along. A second, shorter paper, which has been published in the German Magazin 2000 and titled Omnipresent Consciousness and Free Will might serve as an introduction to those of you who don't want to invest the time necessary to read the whole 36-page essay. And then - you can always choose to go on from there. I should like to thank Mike Emery for having pointed me in the direction of Janus and his essays. And in case neither The Secret nor Consciousness and Free Will hold much attraction for you at this time and yet you want to change the reality in which we live, I have another tip for you. One more way of creating the reality we want is simply to link up with other people and start networking. You can do that either on the internet or in person - starting right in your own neighborhood......

Ho'oponopono - Hawaiian Code of Forgiveness: Take Responsibility

Are we responsible for all that happens in our world - illness, war, violence, but also the good things like love, progress, wise decisions and happiness? Ihaleakala Hew Len, Ph.D., says we are indeed, and we can change the less positive manifestations in our lives by working on our thoughts. The technique to achieve this is called Ho'oponopono and it is an ancient Hawaiian code of forgiveness, used to correct the things that went wrong in a person's life. It may sound preposterous, but apparently personal responsibility is a reality and it can change things. Dr. Len says "There is no such thing as out there. Everything exists as thoughts in my mind." Simply put, Ho'oponopono means, "to make right," or "to rectify an error." According to the ancient Hawaiians, error arises from thoughts that are tainted by painful memories from the past. Ho'oponopono offers a way to release the energy of these painful thoughts, or errors, which cause imbalance and disease. (Definition found here) I want to thank some people who have sent this information around in emails, especially Dr. Joe "Mr. Fire" Vitale, the marketing genius who has met Dr. Len and written up his impressions on his site and blog. Thanks also go to Gary who sent Vitale's information with the following comment: Truth is often stranger than fiction. Anyone who is aware of recent research conclusions in frontier science (such as in entanglement physics, quantum mechanics, astronomy, astro-biology, etc) would readily agree. Actually, recent frontier science can be used to, at least, partially explain the “strange” technique of the “World’s Most Unusual Therapist.” Gary PS If the article seems to you to be complete fantasy without even a 5% probability of possibility, try these phrases (copy and paste each line, separately for each search, as is written below) into your Internet browser’s search engine (such as WebCrawler, Clusty, or even Google) on the World Wide Web; very interesting “stuff!” Then reread the article. “entanglement physics” “action at a distance” “physics” “Time reversal symmetry” “neuro synchrony” "water molecules" “Emoto” “Evoked potential” “Biology of Belief” “role of the observer in scientific experimentation” “physics” But before you go searching for these terms, here the article of Dr. Joe Vitale - food for thought......

Life Extension: Is Transhumanism A Dangerous Idea?

SMILE - Dr. Carol Rosin, president of ICIS, the Institute for Cooperation in Space and a major proponent of peaceful space exploration, said in her tribute to Timothy Leary: "Years ago, Timothy had listed me in the Genetic Hall of Fame in his book, the Intelligence Agents, with people he called "evolutionary agents" who were working for human evolution into space. I'll never forget his Leary SMILE, which he said stands for SM, Space Migration, the I is squared and stands for Intelligence Increase, and the LE stands for Life Exstension." Life Extension is at the point of origin of what is known today as Transhumanism, an idea "closely tied to an enthusiasm for ethical, responsible technological progress. This progress brings greater choice and options for improving the human condition." Image credit: campaignearrings.com In an early article on this site, titled Human Genetic Engineering, I implied that to allow the human genome to be changed might be a dangerous undertaking, just as would be modifying the plants we eat. Today I came across a recent piece, forwarded by Paul, a friend of mine in the UK, which seems to echo that sentiment, but provides a much more balanced discussion of the transhumanist ideas and their detractors. Transhumanists believe that by technical advances we may eventually be able not only to extend our life span but also to become superhuman. The idea is that improving upon nature, we might become not only more healthy and strong, but also more smart. After reading the article, here is what I responded to Paul: "The whole idea of transhumanism is stimulating and nurturing developments that may very well turn out to be positive for keeping in good health longer, although I doubt that most of these thinkers have a grasp of how wonderfully complicated and vastly superior even the most simple of human functions are to current and possibly future technologies. The solutions advocated seem to be based on a belief that the human essence is merely an outgrowth of the physical body. This belief is - and here I agree with Fukuyama - dangerous. It completely overlooks that it's not by freezing a body and then tinkering with it that we can extend our life. Transhumanism has really been going on for eons, man has evolved, and we will continue to evolve, albeit at a faster pace, if we accept some of the ideas that are being mulled. What is perhaps missing from the current transhuman view is the spiritual dimension - the knowledge that humans are born again and again, and that there is no necessity to hang on to one body with all your might. Supernatural abilities are within our grasp - just by discovering what we already knew and lost, rather than by technological fixes. These technical helpers like chips to permit us to directly access electronics are at best "bridge technologies", which eventually won't be necessary any more because we have within ourselves all the abilities those guys imagine to have to achieve technologically. So while I would agree with most of the transhuman ideas for achieving better body function and less illness, I think that freezing bodies just shows a lack of awareness of our real human capabilities and our spiritual abilities. I see humanity transforming, and the new technologies for life extension will help, but the real surprise will come from the discovery of our innate abilities and our spiritual nature." In summary, I believe it won't be medicine that eventually makes for better human lives, at least not the current mechanical pharma-based brand. We will get more healthy and smarter if we foster our own spiritual development, perhaps assisted by the necessary knowledge of how exactly the human body and mind function. Cellular medicine goes a long way in understanding the real pathways of biochemistry in human bodies, but we can't make the mistake of confusing the mind and our mental abilities with the brain's chemical functions. I have a feeling there may yet be many surprises in store for all of us. Things like x-ray vision, instant calculation and collective intelligence may already be with us. At least some of us are already practising. Anyway, if I managed to catch your interest ... here's a copy of that article sent by Paul....

Exopolitics - Why Are Extraterrestrial Politics Taboo?

Some say there is a new political frontier in the stars... Although I have not personally witnessed any event that would be classified as "UFO related", I have not the slightest doubt that we are not alone in this universe. On the contrary, we should rightly be part of a teeming web of life and civilization that permeates not only our own galaxy, but ultimately the vast reaches of the Universe - but it seems we are voluntarily cutting ourselves off from any serious interaction with other forms of intellligence. My first contact with the attempt to bring such matters out into the open and encourage a scientific approach to eventually contacting and interacting with extra planetary intelligent life, was an article about a book by Dr. Michael Salla, published in NEXUS magazine. Then I came across the websites of Alfred Lambremont Webre, a Washington lawyer and scientist, who was to head a civilian study into the matter of extraterrestrial intelligence, killed promptly by intervention from within the deep reaches of government military power play. Although there are literally reams of evidence of extraterrestrial contacts and observations, the high level cover-up continues to this day. The Disclosure Project of Steven M. Greer, MD, seems to be running into the same stonewall that thwarted Lambremont Webre's efforts. Where personal observations - even by groups of people - contradict the official line which is that "there are no UFOs", the establishment's scientific shock troops enter into action. A world wide network of "skeptics" is ready to intervene to discredit any witnesses and tell the press that what was seen were weather balloons, space garbage falling down to earth, meteorites or "collective psychoses". These "skeptics" are active in other fields as well. They appear as "quackbusters" to discredit any innovations in medicine out of line with the pharmaceutical paradigm, they discredit technological advances such as cold fusion or space energy, they mercilessly destroy attempts to better understand physical reality - anything that might change the way we think about the world around us. Official projects of "looking for signs of life in the universe" get us listening to radio signals. Programs such as SETI give popular credence to the false notion that it is exceedingly difficult to prove we are not alone. The suggestion seems to be that earth and humanity might really be the center of life in the universe. Nicolas Copernicus and Galileo come to mind. I do not know why the cover-up about life in space, but certainly it makes for an interesting study, especially as the U.S. is preparing to monopolize the use of space, denying friend and foe alike access to any off-planet real estate. Jeane Manning, author of "The Coming Energy Revolution" and co-author of an expose of HAARP (High Altitude Auroral Research Project) wrote an excellent introductory article to exopolitics, detailing Alfred Lambremont Webre's work......

The Interview Game Part II: What Do You See Ahead Robin?

Although health is the main focus on this site, there are other areas of interest, which need consideration if we are to make progress towards a better future. These problem areas in our current social set-up need to be understood and analyzed. Solutions are needed before we can make real progress towards a peaceful future where we all can find our calling and live lives filled with joy and achievement. In September last year, my good friendRobin Good sent me several questions to answer as part of what he called the "Interview Game". Robin asked me how I saw that future for our society. I kept my part of the deal, which was to answer Robin's questions (to be found here) and in turn I got to ask several questions that Robin would answer. However Robin's answers never did arrive and I did not hear any more on this - until the other day that is, when Robin asked me to re-send those questions. What was on my mind at the time was the role of education and various ways in which the internet and new technologies would influence our future. The questions I asked were: 1. Can you describe to us what you would consider an end product, or outcome, of education? 2. How would schools and universities have to change to achieve such a product? 3. Do you think that evolving means of communication will give rise to new art forms - if so, could you describe what you see coming? 4. Traditional media are losing ground to the internet. What changes would the media giants have to make to re-capture our attention? 5. What means are available to us to salvage the contents of the internet (or as much of it as possible) in case of some catastrophic occurrence like general and prolonged blackouts? 6. If you were to propose a solution to the problem of pirated artistic content, how do you think the needs of artists to be rewarded could be reconciled with the desire of people to experience the art at reasonable prices? 7. Technically, there would be no problem to institute software that could run micropayments through the banking system. Do you think that there are other barriers that keep us from having such a useful tool? Robin's answers are now on his site. What Do You See Ahead? Seven Questions To Robin Good About Present And Future In Education, Communication Technologies And The Arts Robin Good is a scout for new and affordable communication technologies that are accessible to all of us. He is also a good friend of mine and we have done some work together to identify the areas of change that need to be given attention if we are to progress towards a better society for all of us. These areas form the core mission of the Communication Agents Initiative, a brainchild of Robin Good which has spawned three sites so far: Share the Wealth - Chris Gupta's health site Il Grillo Parlante - Ivan Ingrilli's site in Italian and of course this site's modest contribution to the effort - Health Supreme. Not to forget a fourth site - Robin Good's Sharewood Tidings....

Sound Health Sharry Edwards Charges: 'Financial Terrorism'

Ohio, Easter Sunday, 2004 - According to an alert issued by Ralph Fucetola, also known as the Vitamin Lawyer, Sharry Edwards, founder of a school of alternative healing through sound called Human BioAcoustics, (see website of the Sound Health Research Institute) has been attacked in an underhanded way. In what seems to be a typical "dirty tricks" operation, her accounts were seized by a bank in a way that does not allow for defense. The bank apparently operated on what is called a “cognovit note” that had her name affixed to it nearly a decade ago without her knowledge. Don't know what a cognovit note is? I didn't either, until a few minutes ago. According to a Michigan court, “a cognovit note is a legal device by which a debtor consents in advance to the holder's obtaining a judgment without notice or hearing, and possibly without appearance, on the debtor's behalf, by an attorney designated by the holder…” Read Fucetola's open letter and further information about the case here and if you wish, write an e-mail to tell Sharry she's not alone - you might also want to help out with a donation....

Time, Reality and an Experience of Death

The Austrian Nobel physicist Schroedinger pointed out in his essay "Geist und Materie" (Mind and Matter), that the physicist, in an effort to "objectivate" observation, excludes himself as well as the whole world of the mind, from the "objective" scientific reality that is said to exist independently of human interaction. Schroedinger saw a great paradox in this separation of the world into subjective reality - the mind and the spirit - and objective reality the "physical" world around us. To him, "it is the spirit which constructs the real external world of natural philosophy (as well as our day to day world) from his own, that is spiritual, matter." Schroedinger adds that "the spirit can only handle this gigantic task [of creation of reality] with a simplifying trick: by excluding himself from it, by withdrawing from his creation, which thus no more contains its creator." As the vedic scholar Markus Schmieke points out in a recent article in the German raum&zeit, this separation of reality into "subjective" and "objective" keeps us from fully understanding physical reality. In classical physics, especially in its relativistic incarnation, time is merely a vector of the sequence of events and is associated with space in "four dimensional space-time". It has been relegated to being a passive ordering parameter and no qualitative distinction is made between the past, the present and the future. Physics does not consider the "here and now", the moment of the actual happening of events, to be any different than a point in the past or one in the still uncertain future. In accordance with vedic wisdom, says Schmieke, time is what brings the spirit into the world of physical manifestation, establishing a firm link. He cites Ilya Prigogine and his thoughts on the paradox of time and says that the big bang proposed by conventional physics is where a real event, one that requires the existence of a moment of "here and now", breaks the illusion of time being a mere parameter of orderly progression in an essentially pre-determined world. "The big bang hypothesis has led human thought and especially physics into a deep crisis." As Albert Nickitin wrote today, "for some reason intuitively it seems, that in all our 'scientific' search for more and more exotic substances we absolutely ignore the multiregularity of our World, taking it into account only as a time "coordinate," invented by mathematicians, which in real physical terms must remind us of the mystical spells of barbarians. At the same time, quite substantially following from Einstein's General Relativity, the presence of a 4-th coordinate and by that of a plurality of worlds similar to ours, is skipped and is subconsciously considered to be nothing but fictition... If this neglect was not so apparent, we could go on for a long time finding ever new and different patterns, basing ourselves solely on SURFACE effects and appearances. For now, we probably are quite similar to those obviously unreasonable fish living in the river, who seriously figure that the leaves that from time to time appear before them, have arisen out of the water's volume (their "world"), and who are not thinking about any other possibility." My question is: Can one man's experience of death help us get a better grip on the reality that composes our physical world? I believe it can at least strengthen our personal balance by letting us glimpse the - admittedly subjective - experience of a world that clearly lies on the other side, a world that is quite separate from our own "objective" physical existence but that may just be of crucial importance if we want to understand. Please bear with me in reading this highly interesting account of Mellen-Thomas Benedict, who went and came back to describe that "other world" outside of the physical....

More than meets the eye - Russian girl astounds medics

We all have some abilities we do not openly acknowledge - the problem seems to be the inevitable interest generated, and the disbelief we meet when talking about them. Telepathy, teleportation and telekinesis are some of those. Remote viewing has been developed under the CIA for its potential applications in warfare. Here is a neat article published in Russia on Pravda's newswire, which relates the story of a girl who has the ability to see what is normally hidden from view. She can discern internal organs in a body and changes to what's normal, and in fact she has astounded medical doctors telling them some of their diagnoses were not correct. What she wants more than anything? "... study at the most prestigious medical school."...

Emergence - a Holistic Theory of Physics

The exclusion of "non physical" phenomena from the field of investigations of physics has been severely limiting our potential for better understanding the universe. It is true that the reductionist approach generally employed by scientific enquiry has given us great progress in particular areas, but it is also true that our understanding of the broader realities of the physical universe is still severely lacking. I have long been advocating, on this website, which deals with matters of physics and energy technologies, that we must get over this limiting view of the world if physics is to progress in a significant way. Now it appears that Rinaldo Lampis has given the matter considerable thought and is developing a model he calls the Theory of Reality, a new paradigm which overcomes the division between physics and metaphysics, bringing a complete understanding of the reality of our world within reach. Lampis quotes Robert Laughlin's Principle of Emergence as a basis for his model: Solids and liquids sometimes play host to strange entities that bear little resemblance to the atoms making up the substance...What we call reality is a spontaneous phenomenon, emerging like a wave out of some forever unknowable cosmic medium...The underlying nature of reality is hidden from us. Everything is emergent... He then goes on to say: The Hypothesis suggests that higher formative principles dwell in matter; that the sympathetic resonances existing inside matter’s systems cause the emergence – in liquids and solids – of properties which are strikingly different than those that characterize their isolated elements... He also sees support for the new hypothesis in Rupert Sheldrake's concept of morphogenetic fields. I highly recommend you read the thoughtful paper of Lampis, which follows here:...

Vedic Mathematics for our journey to the stars

Is there a native way of approaching mathematical problems? Vedic scholars think there is, and they say it has been (re)discovered by Bharati Krsna Tirthaji (1884 - 1960). Its rules are preserved in 16 Sutras - formulae expressed in words - which can be applied to simple or complex problems alike. What is astonishing is the ease with which even complex calculations can be performed without the aid of paper and pen or a calculator. Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, the Founder of Transcendental Meditation, is quoted as having said: “Vedic Mathematics is that one field of knowledge which fulfils the purpose of education by developing the total creative genius of the individual, giving him/her the ability to be always spontaneously right and automatically precise so that his/her action, supported by Natural Law, is always effortlessly fulfilling.” I want to thank Duncan, editor of NEXUS magazine, for publishing an excellent article on Vedic Mathematics, written by Jain, a travelling math teacher who is spreading the word and is teaching this fun and intuitive kind of mathematics. Jain is - in his way - a "Communication Agent". He effectively communicates the essence of a different mathematics in many ways superior to the one we learn today. This "new" system of mathematics is knowledge we should take with us on our journey to the stars and beyond. Update June 2004: Jain will be one of the guest speakers at the next International Nexus Conference being held in Brisbane, in September 2004. He would like to invite you to attend a fascinating one and a half hour Lecture on the bridging of Vedic Mathematics, Magic Squares and Sacred Geometry on Friday the 24th September 2004, 11.30am to 1pm. You can also check his website: www.jainmathemagics.com for further details to book online for a post-Conference 2-day workshop on the 27th and 28th September. (He will also be teaching in Sydney and Canberra all of June and then to America as a guest speaker at the International Feng Shui Conference in San Luis Obispo, Calfornia from the 6th to 8th August. Boulder, Colorado in September).
