Following is typical of the spin doctoring that the industry and it's ancillaries (ie government bodies and others) use to convince us of the miss use the of already slim regulatory resources to protect the business with disease.
A perfect example of a government regulatory body, the Australian Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA), funded by vested interests masquerading to protect the pubic from the terrible food products even with no injured bodies to show. When in fact their only interest is to protect their own pharma and medical products. Somehow, the public has lost confidence in the generally safe natural health products. Of course no one has ever lost confidence in toxic drugs even with all the injured and dead bodies as evidence!

An Australian government review of herbal and complementary medicines looks set to provoke a wave of extensive reforms to the sector, giving the national medicines body greater powers to regulate natural health products.
The report is aimed at restoring confidence in the alternative medicines sector, according to the government. The industry was badly damaged by the largest medicines recall in Australia's history earlier this year, involving leading natural products manufacturer Pan Pharmaceuticals.
