Vitamin C and SARS
CategoriesDear Dr. Hui,
It was refreshing to learn about your support for a much safer treatment for SARS at your web site:
http://www.drhui.com/SARSvitC.htm
You might be interested in some correspondence that was generated on several non drug treatments (once used successfully) that I originally sent to the Toronto, and other, medical communities. Unbelievably, this initiative was greeted with complete silence. Suspect nothing will happen until we hold these pretentious medical communities accountable. Should really like to hear your view on my original post is at:

They are worried about a substances that is far less toxic than salt but have no problem using, us as guinea pigs to try, their toxic drugs that frequently have not been fully tested and many have known problems!! Then they have the audacity to say that there is not enough evidence to use Vitamin C (see 1000's of references in Dr. Levy's, must read, book cited in my earlier note below which, was sent to many doctors in Toronto & elsewhere, that is conveniently being ignored)! There are more data on Vitamin C alone than all their beloved fund raising, junk drugs combined, yet they rather keep getting rich at our expense and look the other way under the pretense of their hollow, self serving, expertise....

Chris,
it's almost inconceivable to put it down to cluelessness, but unfortunately there are many people - especially doctors - who just can't think for themselves. Of course there is a precise agenda being pushed through all the "official" channels, and it's difficult to first un-learn and then to get the data for forming your own opinion. For the most part, doctors never even get to the un-learning part, let alone the subsequent forming of their own ideas. Crazy world we live in!

I am well aware of what you are saying, however, I get tired of being so accommodating and polite and my frustration shows through my writing - I only wish more people should get to the point and stop humoring these overpriced prostitutes. Our apathy and the inability to sue (take these rascals to the cleaners) generally is their strong ace and they take it to the bank.
Regardless of their training, a good idea is a good idea; and one does not even have to be educated to see that. If we start holding them accountable as some are now beginning to do in the US, we could easily get the herd moving in the right direction. The trend is slowly beginning - where knowledgeable people are beginning to sue doctors for not using already known, and successfully used in the past, modalities in lieu of more expensive and questionable treatments. See "Magnesium: Research Misconduct?" at:

Just tell me, with so much supporting data and the successful use of Vitamin C and other safe treatments in past, why should we tolerate overpriced, substandard, immune damaging, toxic and/or experimental drugs?
