New Movie on Wilhelm Reich:
Like Rife here is another tragic loss, whose work could easily and rightly usurped the despicable business with disease of the medical Mafia. Time and time again we see this reoccurring theme...
These generally hidden historic events are a real education and must be studied and digested if we are to ever remove the wool over our eyes.
Chris Gupta
Directed by Jon East
A new DVD short-length dramatic motion picture by former BBC documentary filmmaker Jon East, presents a fictional but moving account of Dr. Wilhelm Reich, his supporters and his persecutors. This high-budget film was shot on 35mm to Hollywood movie standards and successfully played at major international film festivals (Venice, Cannes etc) in 1999. Now available for the first time on DVD, the film has been newly digitally transferred and comes complete (via an interactive menu) with behind-the-scenes 'making of' footage, a biographical essay on Wilhelm Reich and cast and crew notes. The film depicts Dr. Reich and his co-workers in his laboratory in Rangeley Maine, (using the orgone accumulator, giving therapy and lecturing on infant care). Soon Federal agents invade the premises, disrupting the work and burning Reich's books. Dr. Reich watches history repeat itself, noting that, "It could be worse. The Communists and the Nazis weren't content with burning my books, they wanted me on the fire as well!" Finally Reich uses the cloudbuster to win an emotional and symbolic victory. The film starts with a spoof on the FDA's jaundiced view of "Reich the quack", made in the style of the melodramatic 1950s anti-crime films, and ends on a hopeful note, that Reich has opened the way for humanity to the stars. It will alternatively leave you laughing, and crying with sadness. Originally produced partially as a marketing 'teaser' for a feature-length movie, "It Can Be Done" has grown in popularity and interest. The film's title itself came from a sign posted to Reich's laboratory wall, as an encouragement to his associates.
Although copy-protected, this disc is region-free, (so should play in every country in the world). Presented in anamorphic 1.85:1 widescreen, dolby stereo, main film 22 minutes, additional footage 5 minutes. In plastic case with color wrap. Price: $32.95
Writer/Director Jon East Describes It Can Be Done as: "A fictional interpretation of true events. The film dramatises an apocalyptic episode from the remarkable life of maverick scientist and sexual revolutionary Dr. Wilhelm Reich (1897-1957). Set in the USA in 1956 the film corrects some of the widespread misunderstandings that continue to surround this most unusual man. Although events have been conflated, it is a truthful if poetic account: not only of Reich's breadth of outlook but also of the sinister forces that connived to destroy him. Visually I wanted to achieve a 'transparent' directorial style that didn't compete with the actors' performances for the audience's attention. Rather I aimed to create an epic feel that would both subtly reflect the beauty of Reich's holistic scientific vision and the enormity of the crime visited against it."
Featuring Heathcote Williams, Frank Grimes, Trey Wilkins, Nadia Cameron and Mark Heenehan. Screenplay by Jon East and Alex Panton. Director of Photography Frank Gell. Music by Ilona Sekacz. Production Designer Bruce Hill. Film Editor Liz Green. Costume Designer Jilly Murphy. Executive Producer Jeanette Volturno. Produced by Alex Panton. Directed by Jon East.
It Can Be Done screened at Cannes, Leeds, London and Venice Film Festivals before going on to theatrical distribution in Italy. It has also screened in Los Angeles and New York. Nominated for the Silver Lion at the Venice Film Festival.

March 31, 2004Preface to Medical Veritas - Request for feedback
Mark,
I like the preface however, I am afraid, it is a bit misleading, in that, the arguments made in the preface are stale and may only serve as catharsis to the converted. Yes we all fall into this trap certainly I have...
The current state of medicine is not unique. In fact this is the case in all research be it energy, food etc. We know a lot more than then we choose to use. ..."We are living hundreds of years behind our intended level of technology and that we must recapture this "lost science." and the use of known good, safe and cost effective science.
...."to truly feel in one's gut, a tension between great power and immense powerlessness. Illich the visionary anarchist champions autonomy, communities of people working and caring for each other rather than depending on anonymous professionals, nurturing deep friendships, and living free of artificially imposed hierarchies (ie governments, CMA, AMA etc). So, Illich's vision inspires one to act and change the world somehow. Yet, Illich the social historian explains better than anyone else around how enslaved we have become to overgrown institutions and the economically driven service economy.
Certain tools, like the car, have gained "radical monopolies" over our lives and are now terribly difficult to do without. Just as the over-consumption of goods tends to ruin the physical environment, he makes clear, the over-consumption of services such as compulsory education and medical care wrecks the social fabric. Schools make us dumb, hospitals increase sickness, cars frustrate by causing traffic jams and costing us dearly....
...interest in his work actually increase in coming years as his critique reveals itself to be more accurate and useful than we can understand right now."
This madness will continue until we recognize that most of our problems stem form our misguided trust in governments. Governments from time eternal have been derailed and used by vested interests - hence the interest for a world government. The quality of governments, it must be recognized, is such that they are only if that "good for taking care of roads, sewers, and maybe some other menials: divest them of all their power to control us and let WE the people, with the free market, choose what we do and do not want.
The misguided notion that we NEEEEEEEEEEEED to be governed, because we're too simple minded is nothing but propaganda professing us to think that we don't know how to spend our own money wisely and we can't take responsibility for our actions, therefore, we must employ dictatorial servants to make these decisions for us. But wait!!!, if we cannot make good decisions on our own how is it that we can make good decisions about those whom we elect?"To make a real change with the issues raised in the preface one must understand following only then can we put a dent in current situation:
The Nature of Government
The Source of Government Power
What is the Right Amount of Government?Chris Gupta

November 08, 2003New Royal Rife Movie
This URL previews a new movie. The movie portrays the later life of the scientist, Royale Rife. Rife invented a bioelectric device that destroys parasites, viruses and bacteria in the body, without harming the body. It is one of numerous devices that defeat cancer. He also invented a prism microscope (about 1930) that views live bacteria in their host environment. This was and is a first that has not been replicated. Both of these devices have been suppressed since the 1930s, initially by the US medical community, more recently by the pharmaceutical industry, and currently the US FDA, similar to all devices on which neither an AMA leader nor the pharmaceutical industry hold patents.

October 23, 2003Dr John Lee
The following note from Jane Jones of the NPWA is very sad news indeed. I read some of Dr. Lee's work on natural progesterone and other hormone related material and found it a real revelation. His eye opening knowledge and his ability to present complex material to both professionals and general public was second to none. One's knowledge on hormones and health can only be lacking let alone adequate if one has not been exposed to this great man's research.
Dr. Lee's father died at a very early age (49) from heart complications - while Dr. Lee lived a lot longer his/our heritage is not easy to get around.
A real loss...
