Venezuela gets the Florida treatment

Further to The War Against The Third World here again we see how rich plunder the poor....

Added Comment: There seems to be no limit to the level of corruption and deceit to which the "self-appointed rulers" of the planet will stoop to successfully enslave everyone to THEIR agenda. And they dare to masquerade and hide under the umbrella of "self-proclaimed protectors of democracy" - while they terrorize the rest of the world!!! Is it not high time to call a "spade a spade"? A rose by any other name still smells the same. A crime syndicate is a crime syndicate - and it has, and continues to, hi-jack and enslave legitimate governments - seemingly operating with impunity. "All that is needed for evil to exist and flourish is for good men and women to do nothing."

Will The Gang That Fixed Florida Fix the Vote in Caracas this Sunday? by Greg Palast

Hugo Chavez drives George Bush crazy. Maybe it's jealousy: Unlike Mr. Bush, Chavez, in Venezuela, won his Presidency by a majority of the vote.

Or maybe it's the oil: Venezuela sits atop a reserve rivaling Iraq's. And Hugo thinks the US and British oil companies that pump the crude ought to pay more than a 16% royalty to his nation for the stuff. Hey, sixteen percent isn't even acceptable as a tip at a New York diner.

Whatever it is, OUR President has decided that THEIR president has to go. This is none too easy given that Chavez is backed by Venezuela's poor. And the US oil industry, joined with local oligarchs, has made sure a vast majority of Venezuelans remain poor.

Therefore, Chavez is expected to win this coming Sunday's recall vote. That is, if the elections are free and fair.

They won't be. Some months ago, a little birdie faxed to me what appeared to be confidential pages from a contract between John Ashcroft's Justice Department and a company called ChoicePoint, Inc., of Atlanta. The deal is part of the War on Terror.

Justice offered up to $67 million, of our taxpayer money, to ChoicePoint in a no-bid deal, for computer profiles with private information on every citizen of half a dozen nations. The choice of which nation's citizens to spy on caught my eye. While the September 11th highjackers came from Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Lebanon and the Arab Emirates, ChoicePoint's menu offered records on Venezuelans, Brazilians, Nicaraguans, Mexicans and Argentines. How odd. Had the CIA uncovered a Latin plot to sneak suicide tango dancers across the border with exploding enchiladas?

What do these nations have in common besides a lack of involvement in the September 11th attacks? Coincidentally, each is in the throes of major electoral contests in which the leading candidates -- presidents Lula Ignacio da Silva of Brazil, Nestor Kirschner of Argentina, Mexico City mayor Andres Lopez Obrador and Venezuela's Chavez -- have the nerve to challenge the globalization demands of George W. Bush.

The last time ChoicePoint sold voter files to our government it was to help Governor Jeb Bush locate and purge felons on Florida voter rolls. Turns out ChoicePoint's felons were merely Democrats guilty only of V.W.B., Voting While Black. That little 'error' cost Al Gore the White House.

It looks like the Bush Administration is taking the Florida show for a tour south of the border.

However, when Mexico discovered ChoicePoint had its citizen files, the nation threatened company executives with criminal charges. ChoicePoint protested its innocence and offered to destroy the files of any nation that requests it.

But ChoicePoint, apparently, presented no such offer to the government of Venezuela's Chavez.

In Caracas, I showed Congressman Nicolas Maduro the ChoicePoint-Ashcroft agreement. Maduro, a leader of Chavez' political party, was unaware that his nation's citizen files were for sale to U.S. intelligence. But he understood their value to make mischief.

If the lists somehow fell into the hands of the Venezuelan opposition, it could immeasurably help their computer-aided drive to recall and remove Chavez. A ChoicePoint flak said the Bush administration told the company they haven't used the lists that way. The PR man didn't say if the Bush spooks laughed when they said it.

Our team located a $53,000 payment from our government to Chavez' recall organizers, who claim to be armed with computer lists of the registered. How did they get those lists? The fix that was practiced in Florida, with ChoicePoint's help, deliberate or not, appears to be retooled for Venezuela, then Brazil, Mexico and who knows where else.

Here's what it comes down to: The Justice Department averts it's gaze from Saudi Arabia but shoplifts voter records in Venezuela. So it's only fair to ask: Is Mr. Bush fighting a war on terror -- or a war on democracy?

Breakthrough Power:

breakthroug.jpg

"How quantum-leap new energy inventions can transform our world" by Jeane Manning & Joel Garbon is a non technical and easy to understand book that contains a fantastic summary of "free energy*" devices. The authors have done a superb job of making this difficult and somewhat esoteric information accessible to all. Both the experienced and those new and/or starting out in this exciting area of research will find the book eminently suitable. I have always loved Jeane's writings. She has an uncanny ability to explain complex scientific and mathematical concepts to the lay person that most scientists and mathematicians simply can't do! This combined with Joel's industry background makes this work even better.

*Free Energy does not mean that you get something for nothing it simply means that you get more energy then what you put in. This can be done for example by using very little energy to access are larger pool of existing energy source.

A distinguishing feature of clean technologies is how they harmoniously work with nature. Unlike legacy technologies which are inclined to disregard and/or override natural phenomena. Much of the confusion on free energy stems from the interpretation, or should I say misinterpretation, of second law of thermodynamics (which essentially states that you cannot get more energy out than is put into the system). The book does an excellent job of getting to the root of this misunderstanding in lay and professional terms and explains why it is possible to get more energy than one puts into a system when we harnesses the "wheel works of nature". Why All The Parties Hate Direct Democracy

Its all about control and not democracy that's why... Direct democracy, as opposed the top down industrial military directives that we, along with the rest of the world, are literally forced to swallow under the pretense of democracy, is the real thing. Hence direct democracy is a bane to the establishment, that literality runs our, so called, democratic governments. Once this is understood it becomes all to easy to see why Globalization is and has become the major impetus.

The problem for the establishment is that local governments are too numerous and much harder to control than centralized ones. The progressive shift of power from local to those of the provincial/state and then to federal and now to global governments is clearly the reason for easier control over the masses. Imagine trying to get a resolution to your problem in Brussels or some far off land that is totally detached form local issues of some distant place. As the saying goes "out of site out of mind". Much easier to abuse faceless people. Devolving power to the lowest practicable level is what makes democracy work so is it any wonder the establishment hates it?

Tony Benn discusses the history of democracy, how it has been undermined and how it can be won ...again.

"There is never a final victory for democracy. It is always a struggle in every generation, and you have to take up the cause time and time again."

Big Ideas That Changed The World : Democracy-Tony Benn (38 min)

Once you have digested the above the following will explain what the establishment is all about - MONEY Enslavement:

Harper's Pentagon North

...."The focus of the defence lobby now is on getting contracts signed as quickly a possible," Staples said in an interview. "They want to make it impossible for future governments to get out of these spending commitments."....

Even as a minority government Harper has nearly totally done us in - imagine what he has in store should he get a majority? See our future in:

Why We Fight (complete documentary 1hr:39min)

Short 2min clip

"Harper has tried to reshape the way Canadians think about Canada, weaning us off our fondness for peacekeeping (and medicare, for that matter), and getting us excited about being a war-making nation, able to swagger on the world stage in the footsteps of the Americans.

In fact, the U.S. has shown where big military spending leads. As the "defence" sector expands, jobs and economic prosperity become linked to war preparation. A bulging defence sector becomes a built-in constituency for war."

"With 700 military bases around the world, it is no wonder that the biggest employer in the US is the Military. To maintain their hegemony it is imperative that only jobs left (aside form the menial service jobs) be those for the military..."

Extracted from: Excellent Interview On Depleted Uranium & ABANDONMENT Of Soldiers

So now we have no choice but to be integrated with the US imperial aspirations yet so many have been duped to think Harper is leader he is anything but!

Fundamental Change In Farming? IAATD UN Report

"Its final report acknowledges that genetically engineered (GE) crops are highly controversial and will not play a substantial role in addressing the key problems of climate change, biodiversity loss, hunger and poverty."

At the risk of being an arm chair critic given that I have not read the report - we have today and have had for many many years, not some time in the future, known how to literarily double our food growth in half the foot print ; do it organically; produce clean free energy as a byproduct; do it sustainably; and clean up the environment to boot! All this and more using tried and true time proven parmaculture and biodynamic methods already in public domain - so who is stopping us?

Australia, the US, Canada and their cronies. That who. Could it be stealing markets from fossil fuels, cleaning environment and an abundance of nutrient rich foods that keep us healthy be a little to threatening for the predatory corporations? These rich snobs with their self serving experts shills have repeatedly abused due diligence and continue to injure us. Their excuse. No money, Yet lots of money for wars at a drop of a had! They have usurped all our tax dollars to deliberately create from, richness and abundance, unconscionable wars and scarcity and environmental damage for personal gain for their cronies.

Just the cost of one year war in Iraq could easily pay for all the infrastructure for permanently establish abundance for all. But will they? And will we demand accountability or continue to be abused?
