"The CDC currently says that the regular flu kills 36,000 people in the U.S. every year. But some estimates indicate that through the 1970’s and 1980’s, there were 20,000 deaths per year from the flu. Now, suddenly, this figure has almost doubled. Why?
Harvard grad student, Peter Doshi, decided to do his own research into the claim that 36,000 people die annually from the flu. He published his letter “Are U.S. flu death figures more PR than science?” at the British Medical Journal. He discovered that, Between 1979 and 2002, the National Center for Health Statistics (NCHS) data show an average 1348 flu deaths per year (range 257 to 3006).”
If you’re wondering why the CDC would inflate the number of flu deaths, keep in mind that the more people they can frighten into getting their flu shot the greater profits for the vaccine manufacturers. If you believe the CDC’s primary intention is to protect public health, you’re wrong. Their goal seems more aligned with distorting disease data to convince more people that getting a flu shot makes sense. The CDC has an actual “recipe” for increasing flu shot demands. Most would not even know about bird flu if it was not for the mass media spin....

Clearly, the conventional system of providing health news has not been effective at halting the progress of chronic degenerative diseases in the U.S.
With all of this news about health and nearly daily breakthroughs in medicine, why are so many people still suffering? And why does the United States pay more than $2 trillion dollars a year for “health care,”more than any other country in the world, and yet rank only forty-eighth in the world in life expectancy? Something is desperately wrong with this picture.
One has to ask If prescription drugs are so good, where are all the healthy drug takers?
Since the beginning of the last century, our food supply has changed dramatically, to processed, prepackaged food created and distributed primarily by large corporations. As our food supply has changed, our health has correspondingly deteriorated.
You may wonder just how the corporations have been able to get away with selling you sub-standard food. It’s one thing for the media to “sell” these foods with their ads, but what about the supposedly authoritative reports we hear about the modern diet, and the science that is behind them? We’re often told that “experts agree” and that “experts support” and that “experts declare” some new health insight.What the viewers should be asking themselves, though, is who funded the research that allows these “experts” to make these claims, and do these “experts” have any financial ties to the products they are promoting?"
One will never hear about the fact that a simple Vitamin C IV, UV blood irradiation and/or Oxidative therapies already can take care of any such pandemics should they occur...
...""Estimates of the environmental burden of disease revealed that, in developing countries, 85–90 percent of these deaths are attributable to the lack of safe water, sanitation and hygiene, i.e., an estimated total of about 700,000 deaths largely preventable if water and sanitation services were improved and basic rules of hygiene observed.”
...any efforts to provide developing countries with clean water a “collective failure” and believes millions of lives could be saved if sanitation was improved. According to Dr. Aldis, “Water sources (surface, underground and piped) are regularly subject to bacterial contamination with only about 50 percent of all supplies meeting the national drinking water standards.”"
