In closing, Laurie, please tell me and other Canadians which foreign countries and groups of countries you have in mind in sec. 3 under Definitions in this act.

It is not helpful to anyone and it does not increase the credibility of those who may have legitimate concerns. Statistically, there should be about 280 MPs and Senators who use NHPs. I am one of them and I do not intend to do anything that will jeopardize that. That is also not the intent of C-51. There are several amendments coming out this week in response to concerns raised by MPs and others. That will hopefully address some of the concerns over the language of the bill. C-51 has only passed first reading and it has many stages to go through before it becomes law. [3] Have you read the Natural Health Product Regulations and are you aware of the Joint Scrutiny of Regulation and the fact that after 4 years of complaints and submissions that there still has not been an on record review of these regulations?
[4] Have you read the current Food and Drugs Act?
[5] Did you know that the number one killer of Canadians is the most heavily regulated professions – medical doctors, nurses and pharmacists, using the most heavily regulated products prescription drugs in the heaviest regulated facilities hospitals and care homes?
[6] Have you ever looked at evidence based death statistics in Canada [see attached file]?
[7] Have you read Bill C-420 and do you understand what it was designed to addressed?
[8] Have you read any of the Strauss Herb Company Court decisions?
[9] Have you read any of the Truehope Court decisions?
[10] Have you read the Bader and Health Court case?
