Royal Flush in killer diseases
This is how Tony Jackson, a writer, musician and Craniosacral therapist, described his lot when he found that he had cancer as well as hepatitis B and C.
He found his cure in natural methods, lots of "live food", detoxification, supplements, and he overcame the killers, only to discover that the supplements that contributed to saving his life are going to be closely regulated and heavily restricted by European edict somwhere between now and 2005.
The question is, if orthodox methods have an appalling track record and if natural methods do function, why in heaven's name should the natural methods be restricted and the orthodox pharmaceutical, invasive methods be foisted on one and all? Some hidden interest in a very lucrative business with disease perhaps?
Diagnosed with colon cancer in February 2002, the pain of the tumour blocking my colon, which had begun as a dull ache, now felt as if a pack of wild dogs were gnawing at my entrails. When tests also confirmed the presence of Hepatitis B&C. I couldn’t believe my luck. I had been dealt a Royal Flush in killer diseases.
My work and studies in alternative medicine allowed me to make an informed choice about holistic treatment. Refusing to be panicked into precipitous conventional treatment even though the prognosis was dire, I put myself onto the Gerson therapy, the basis of which is nutrition through the use of twelve freshly made organic fruit and vegetable juices a day, detoxing coffee enemas and intense supplementation designed to help regenerate a compromised metabolism and boost the immune system. Although case histories show it to be effective in the treatment of even late stage cancers it should be understood that pursuing such a course is lengthy, rigorous and demanding, requiring the discipline of a monk.
After three months I underwent surgery to remove the tumour. Biopsy showed that the cancer had spread to the lymph and into the peritoneal cavity. Declining chemotherapy, I have continued with a more specific nutritional Gerson type regime under a holistic, multi-disciplined physician, whose guidance has been vital because of the danger in disturbing the balance of essential nutrient levels when using high dose supplements.
Eighteenth months post diagnosis, a barrage of conventional tests has detected no cancer these past fifteen months and the Hepatitis virus has been rendered inactive. I feel happier than I have for years, bicycle around London whilst friends tell me that not only do I look ten years younger than I did before all this started, but also to their astonishment my white hair is getting darker. There is no question that the taking of personal responsibility and active participation in treatment is deeply empowering contributing much to its success.
Since the fifties when Dr.Gerson evolved his therapy, Orthomolecular Oncology, the treatment of cancer by nutritional and supplementary methods, has come a long way and the availability of cutting edge supplementation in the form of essential minerals, vitamins and enzymes is proving successful in the treatment of even so called incurable cancers as is shown so eloquently in Michael Gerin-Tosh’s book “Living Proof”.
In March 2002, a directive was passed by the EU banning nearly 300 nutrients removing effectively, some five thousand products, from the health store shelves from August 1st. 2005. The directive also allows for the setting of maximum permitted levels of vitamins and minerals. Current legislation will also restrict traditional herbal medicines eventually affecting all organic nutrients. This is catastrophic.
A petition with over a million signatures against the directive was presented to parliament by 30 MP’s and in January although some 220 MP, s signed an early day motion against the directive not one labour member who had signed that motion was willing to back the issue when it came to the house!
On the 1st.July 2003, the House of Lords voted against the directive by 132 to 79 votes
Rather than put the legislation to a democratic vote in the House of Commons the government decided that a vote held following a one and a half hour standing committee meeting would be sufficient reason to implicate the ban.
The original members of the committee were announced towards the end of June. Two days before the vote was due to take place it emerged that several Labour MPs on the committee were going to vote against the legislation. This would have prevented the legislation from being voted through. On the day before the vote the Labour Party removed five Labour MPs from the committee and replaced them with Labour MPs who could be guaranteed to vote it through.
Millions of people in this country take nutrient supplementation to maintain health and deal with debilitating and painful conditions. If it were not for the availability of natural high dose supplements I myself would not be alive today.
Given the state of the National health system it is insane to chop a burgeoning, economically flourishing private sector where not only are people willing to take responsibility for their health and pay for it, but also much excellent inductive, clinical research is being conducted into the terrible diseases that threaten us all.
“Who gains”? Jeremy Corbyn MP suggested to the standing committee that he “Sees the hand of the Pharmaceutical industry at work”.
The Alliance for Natural Health is preparing to challenge the legality of the Food Supplements Directive in the European Court of Justice. The legal team, that includes the only barristers who have successfully overturned an EU directive, consider there to be sufficient legal grounds for the challenge. Proceedings are expected to commence in mid/late September.
