Call for help - FDA vs Jason on 14 July

Categories

9 July 2003 - World arm wrestling champion Jason Vale will face FDA backed court action in New York on 14 July for sharing the seeds that allowed him to overcome terminal cancer. The case is about constitutional rights of free speech but also touches our right to choose treatment of our liking - without government interference.

Jason, who cured himself of cancer by prayer and eating apricot seeds, containing Vitamin B17, and who has subsequently helped others in similar condition by supplying the seeds, is being challenged by the FDA to stop it or else. The FDA-initiated legal action which will culminate in a trial to be held this coming 14 July before Judge John Gleeson of the Federal Eastern District of New York.

Call to action: Those in New York please organize a demonstration to express support. Others - spread the word.

Subject: Please Help

We need as many people to show up at this address: United States Courthouse, 225 Cadman Plaza E, Brooklyn, NY 11201 Ph 718-260-2450 on Monday, July 14, 2003 -- with signs, etc, in protest of the plan of destruction of Jason's constitutional rights!!! The trial begins at 9:00- am We would like people to be there as early as 7:00 am if possible. Thank you!

World Arm Wrestling Champ, Jason Vale, in David and Goliath Battle with the FDA

Queens, New York - Jason Vale, 35 yr old who was terminal from cancer, and went on to become the Arm Wrestling World Champion, is facing another difficult opponent -- the Federal Drug Administration. Jason turned to alternative healing when he came down with cancer for the third time -- and successfully conquered cancer by prayer and eating apricot seeds, otherwise known as Laetrile. The seeds of these fruits contain Vitamin B17 (Laetrile) which has been found to have an amazing success in the healing of all types of cancers as well as preventing cancer.

Jason Vale has traveled the country in arm wrestling matches since his healing, and has been interviewed by various newspapers, radio stations, and tv shows such as Extra and CNN and the Wall Street Journal. The staff of Extra received such a large number of callers after Jason's interview aired, that they aired his show a second time. Jason began to supply people with apricot seeds and an information video through a company Christian Brothers and thereafter thousands called in with success stories ranging from cancer gone to tumors shrinking down. These success stories are all documented at the website www.seedoffaith.org along with the court documents.

Eventually, without even one customer complaint, the FDA came in and seized apricot seeds and computers and brought Jason to criminal court for promoting this natural answer to cancer. Jason was not a licensee of the FDA so he is not under their jurisdiction. However, on July 14, 2003, in the Federal Eastern District of New York courtroom of Judge John Gleeson, Jason will defend his Constitutional Rights to be able to continue to tell his story of how he defeated one of the world's most deadliest opponents - cancer.

This news worthy case has been quiet for some time now, however due to the near future trial date, Jason Vale has finally agreed to tell his side of the story; this is after turning down shows such as Date Line, 20-20 and 60 minutes.

Cancer - Defending An Industry
As Jason Vale awaits sentencing next week for selling Apricot seeds to people with cancer, the powers-that-be felt it necessary to defend the industry. Readers' Comments

Seem like a clear case of violation of Jason's freedom of speech. Is it illegal to distribute the apricot seeds? Who cares if he is prosecuted then there are plenty of other people selling and distributing much worse and more harmful products. STAN

Thanks for your comment, Stan.

The case does reek of persecution and violation of freedom of speech, but I believe Jason is ready for the fight. Selling apricot seeds (and some refined extracts from them) should not be illegal, but there is the question of FDA protection of their cronies in the pharmaceutical camp who cringe at the thought that a natural alternative could ruin their extremely lucrative business with disease.

Kind regards
Josef

USA is the world advocate for human right. Isn't the action of FDA tatamount to violation of human right? The one that really need to be prosecuted should be the FDA which approved many deadly drugs, such as statin drugs which cause numerous deaths just for the benefit of pharma cartel. Some one out there please initiate the action.
