----------------Maria,
Before embarking on any treatment one needs to:
Make sure that there is adequate hydration and the water is Fluoride and toxin free.
Immediately stop the consumption of artificial sweeteners such as Aspartame.
If she has cut back on saturated fats, as many have, then she will develop mineral deficiencies as this is the critical fat for absorbing minerals. Add some organic butter (preferably raw) and eggs (unless she is allergic to them) to her diet and stop all processed foods (this includes all vegetable oils (unrefined oils such as olive for salads, coconut and palm for cooking are the only exceptions) and most milk products, unless raw, these are all adulterated). Also include some cod liver oil daily. (The dose is about one teaspoon for every 50 pounds of body weight.)
Add fermented foods, these provide enzymes and pobiotics essential for nutrient absorption and keep the harmful bacteria at bay.
Here is 6 minute sound bite on Parkinson's from Lynne McTaggart of What Doctors Don't Tell You
If she is on Statin drugs wean her of them as soon as possible - this could be the major cause of neurological and muscular problems. See:
Statin Drugs & Memory Loss

A simple and cost effective way to increase Glutathione is here.
There are also some vitamin deficiencies particularly B2 that need to be addressed.
Sauna Therapy for Detoxification & Healing should be considered as metal toxicity has been implicated in many neurological disorders.
Coenzyme Q10 Parkinson's disease
.."those with Parkinson's disease should consider supplementing with 1200 mg of CoQ10 a day."...

CQ10 is most effective when taken at body temperature with butter. Without proper fats and good stomach flora you are wasting most of it!
If you can give her intravenous CQ10 that should be best. ACAM member Dr. Joannides maybe able to help. He should be able to help with metal and chemical detoxification as well.

Electromedical Approaches:
Here is a quote form an Indian Clinic regarding the use of "Pulsed Electro Magnetic Field" (PEMF) therapy.
"In patients with Parkinson's disease, stroke, Multiple Sclerosis the improvement in gait, spasticity, motor function, speech, swallowing when treated with magnetic field, are considered to be due to the effect in circulation, oxygen up take, energy production and activation of stem cells resulting in regeneration. In motor nueron Diseases and Muscular Dystrophy conditions it is seen muscle function is almost regained with PEMF therapy."
Extracted from: www.bharathiclinic.com/htm/therapy.htm
Conclusions: MME appears to improve symptoms of Parkinson’s disease and potentially influence biological events ranging from heavy metal removal, tissue regeneration by decrease in hyperhydration and apoptosis of dopanergic cells, and the upregulation of stem cells and decreased oxidative stress. Sham controlled, masked multicenter trials of MME therapy in PD with several major medical universities are to commence in mid-2003. Further studies are underway to elucidate the mechanisms of patients’ symptoms improvement.

"CES is a field that would not have happened without the pioneering efforts of Dr. Robert O. Becker and Dr. Daniel L. Kirsch. Looking at the unfulfilled potential of electromedicine is kind of like a walk on the wild side - It can stop pain, dissolve stress, accelerate learning, raise I.Q.s, reverse stroke damage of long standing, stop Parkinsons tremors, regrow bones, regenerate flesh, even dedifferentiate cancer cells. Future Science, we could call it, except that it already exists. Dealing with the basic forces of life, the secrets of the bodys currents, frequencies and resonances, electromedicine is surely the medicine of the new millennium. We will hear much more of it, for it will save many lives, much suffering, and fortunes in healthcare costs - if the government will just get out of the way."

Dear Mr. Gupta,
I am a recipient of your email updates and Share the Wealth and have learned much.
I wish to ask for your help. My mom has Parkinson’s disease for over 12 years now and is getting worse by the passing of time. Could you recommend where to look for alternative solutions (versus standard medicine and doctors) that may help her? I realize that we cannot turn this around completely, but is there hope for a 75 year old woman to live better?
Thank you for any assistance you can provide.
